Midas installed a new kitchen with the top of the range appliances to give their property and very up to date feel. We also added an oak bay window and oat patio doors to give the kitchen a light airy feel. Qualities finish for a quality home.
Midas Construction completed a kitchen/dining room project for us in October 2011. The work comprised of the knocking down of a wall between the two rooms and installing a supporting beam that was to be “hidden” in the ceiling. We asked them to install a bay window with window seat to our design, along with french doors. Rewiring the area and installing new lighting, repositioning services for the installation of a kitchen island and the fitting of a previously used kitchen with appliances was also required.
Although Jason quoted more than others, he impressed us with the way he thought about the project. We were very pleased with the way Jason and his team worked together. We always felt that he was in tune with what we wanted and was committed to the timescales we had agreed. Our brief was a bit loose but he always took the time to discuss issues and suggest solutions to problems we came across. In particular, the used kitchen that we bought unseen: the dimensions we gave Jason were not always accurate, so he had to make adjustments during the installation.
Jason contracted a joinery company to manufacture our window. They did an amazing job, working to a very high standard of workmanship that exceeded our expectations.
The project was finished to a high standard and any jobs that required finishing off were done without delay.
We are delighted with the light and space in our beautiful new room and would be very happy to recommend Midas Construction.
